Happy little snaps

hello! life is in full swing these days and I couldn't be happier! Chasing these little ones around is work! but its the best kind and I am grateful I get to spend my days with them. I have been trying all sorts of new recipes with my new favorite tool : the dehydrator! and will share them soon! Ive also officially lost all my baby weight! woo woo! Hubby and I have been getting back into our fitness and it feels great! Anyway here are some random pics of things that made me smile lately! most of which are of food lol! Happy Wednesday! =)

Jyselle's World : Gymnastics!

Lalalalalalalala Jyselle's world! ( singing in an Elmo voice of course =) ) These days its her world and I'm just in it lol! I don't mind at all because my little girl is growing up! Almost 3 and now is in her very own tumble tykes gymnastics class! Last Friday was her trial class and she did amazing! So she is officially our little gymnast! She had so much fun getting dressed in her leotard and had no problem saying bye bye  to me as she joined the other little ones and of course I was a proud mommy looking on through the window and snapping a ton of pics n videos! don't worry I wont share them all just a few =) Afterwards she ate her packed lunch (pb n banana sandwich, raspberries n her favorite muffin ) in the car and we strolled through target and she got an icee for being such a good listener and back home for nap time, which she declared she was very tired from all the jumping! YES! Only 3 more months and boy boy will be ready for the mommy and me classes! My new favorite Friday mornings! Happy Weekend!

The perfect summer afternoon mocktail ! PLUS a quick garden update!

Summer is here!  and We've been enjoying days and nights by the pool. I recently made my sister and I this little mocktail , its so delicious and refreshing and bonus its zero calories! I call it my sparkling mojito mocktail! 3 ingredients that's it! If you make it you will love it I promise! Feel free to add liquor for the real thing when life calls for it =)

P.S our new Georgia urban garden is in FULL swing! so much is growing and I cant wait to start harvesting even more! Can you believe this is all in front of our apartment garage! Hubby built the planters for me, some are in buckets, coffee cans , and plastic containers. This is a true testament that you CAN garden in any space! I'm hoping these little pictures (sorry not the best I'm still hoping for a new camera!) inspire you to start a garden of your own! Perfect for getting the kiddos involved too! So happy sipping and happy gardening!

Sparkling Mojito Mocktail

1 quart of your favorite flavored sparkling water (zero calorie)
Fresh mint and lime
* Muddle the mint and lime in a pitcher and add the sparkling water ! ice too if you like! ENJOY!

A little farewell ...

So it seems like forever since I've "journaled" on this little blog of mine! It's not that I didn't love it it's just so hard to find the time to sit and get it out ! My days are filled with these little ones, keeping them engaged and stimulated and cared for , not to mention the hubby and I ! I don't know how other mommy bloggers do it ! But I'm so glad they do because I enjoy reading them and getting new ideas to use in my own daily adventures of motherhood ! So for now I'm going to stick to reading the blogs I enjoy and less writing of my own, I loved it while it lasted and who knows I may get back to it some day..
A huge heartfelt thank you to all my 10 readers lol and who ever else stopped by to share in this little corner of mine ! It means a lot to me ! All of our little hands are still happily getting into everything we can and the littlest ones are growing so fast ! So Thankful for every moment I get with this little family of mine : )

Outside!

This weekend we were finally all feeling better and the sun came out to celebrate! Jyselle was so excited to be outside !boy boy wasn't really too impressed lol, but it was just what we needed a little family time n fresh air : )

Little Pieces...

Little Pieces of life these days.. Excuse the picture overload its been awhile and both little ones are napping at the same time! A rare and proud moment for me! Happy Hump day off to make my grocery list, aka "pin" =)

Another Pinterest inspired activity..

Bubbles!!!! Its been raining a lot lately and our outside time hasn't been as much as we were used to in Cali.. Pinterest to the rescue! I have saved a bunch of cool little projects n things I want do with the kiddos and this was perfect fun for a rainy day! We made our own bubble solution  in the morning and then after nap time we blew bubbles from the balcony =) I love how these little things get the biggest smiles =) Happy Friday!

Lately...

 Phew! Its been a bit since Ive posted , or " cyber-journaled"  as i call it now lol this is what this little space has become for me. A Little corner where I can share little pieces of things that make me smile, with my family n friends n whoever else cares to stop by. Its pretty therapeutic actually.. but as life happens n kiddos grow I don't get to do it as often as I like but its nice to get a minute every now n then to share =)
Any who life is happening around here, boy-boy is healthy n happy! My toddler is growing up n by the way potty trained! woo woo! ( minus naps n bedtime..we'll get there) N the hubby n I are soon going to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary! Time flies as a wise woman just told me ; ) so we better do all we can to enjoy it...

6months...

This week boy-boy turned 6months. Time is really flying . I always have mixed feelings when taking him to see the doctor , this visit was a little tough. A tired toddler threw a tantrum( a big one !) , a few shots for the Lil guy , and some nerve racking news. I'm hoping for the best as always and no matter what I love these two .. tantrums and all : ) .. Ps I love how these snaps depicted an apple a day keeps the doctor away ! Lol didn't work for the little guy this time ; )
