Winner Winner! An Easy chicken dinner! (Thank you Nana)

When Life is crazy this is a great go to recipe. Which if you follow this blog at all you will know that is exactly what my life is these days. A new baby, a new state, staying in a new home with my sis n her family, and a newly two year old who poor little thing is trying to process it all. Between getting up in the middle of the night to nurse a baby or console a stressed little toddler this recipe is right up my alley. When I stayed with my mom after having the baby she made this for me. I thought it was the most delicious chicken ever! She said "oh its so easy" and she is right! Its one of those no fuss throw in the oven kind of chickens. You can adapt it any way you like. You can put it all together the night before or in the morning and let it sit in the fridge till you're ready to bake it. I recently re made it this Sunday for our first Sunday dinner in Georgia and it was a huge hit! No leftovers is a huge hit in my book =) P.S this recipe is linked at the awesome food blog lifeasalofthouse.com  for the weekend potluck! enjoy =)

Yup 5 ingredients ...

pretty purple chicken goodness
Not the best pic but I promise delicious!
Dinner is served! (p.s best mashed potatoes via my sister)

Nana's Easy Chicken Dinner
 *family pack of chicken thighs
*chopped garlic
*sliced bell peppers any color ( I used purple ones I scored at the farmers market!)
*sliced red onion ( as much or as little as you like)
*your favorite Italian dressing

Season the chicken with salt and pepper
Top chicken with garlic, peppers, onion, and dressing ( also put a lil peppers n onions under chicken)
marinate in fridge overnight or a few hours
bake at 375 till skin is crispy n golden brown delicious ( I baked in a dish but my mom says better to foil line a roasting pan so veggies can caramelize and she is right and I will do next time =)
